hey drima,
for the common recess thing, while we want to be unique, don't we also want to sing a song that people know and people like? if we sing a song that few have heard before, why would they want to listen to us? especially since the song is sad-ish, and don't we want to set a happy mood in the canteen, where EVERYONE will be listening to us?
anyway, do you think our music teacher will let us choose since she will be playing the piano and it has to be a song she has the notes to right? but maybe she'll be able to come up with her own notes to accompany our singing.
